Wonderful store, lots of items to chose from.
They have a wonderful variety of everything lawn and garden. Everyone is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. If you want to get away from the super-center and shop locally this is the place to do it without compromising on selection!
Even if you don't go to buy a quilt, you should at least make the trip to view the breathtaking architecture and the beautiful view of the old mill. It's on the National Historical registry, and the business is open on Sundays. The mill wheels itself still work, and you can see it while they have open houses through a plexiglass wall. Absolutely gorgeous. Located in Beaver Creek, MD.
I purchased two cars from Sam's Used Cars, a honda prelude, this was quite a rare find, and my mitsubishi eclipse, which i still own to this day. I loved both of these car and never had a problem with either of them, i would recommend anyone shopping around for a used car to come check them out. They are very friendly and actually KNOW what they sell. They always have new cars on the lot as they sell pretty quick. They have a great selection to choose from that covers everyone's budget, but dont take MY word for it, go check them out yourself!
Rude and uncivilized people. Worst experience with a taxi company and will never be using their services again.
very nice man! diagnosed my problem over the phone at no charge(:
By far the best water softening and conditioning contractor in the area!
Stephen Florek was very helpful and knowledgeable. Great Company
After a wonderful Fahter's Day afternoon at Cunningham Falls State Park, my family and I were looking for somewhere "new" to eat dinner--at least new to us. We journeyed into nearby Thurmont, and on a whim, pulled into The Cozy Restaurant. With an fantastic buffet and full menu selections, this place did not disappoint in taste or value. Of particular interest were the low fat pumpkin muffins--I don't rave about many things, but these muffins were superb! Of course, after eating four at dinner and sneaking another three for later, I think the low fat notion got lost along the way. We've found a new place to eat, and will be back again very soon (just hoping the muffins are a regular feature).
I had an infestation of bed bugs. Siegfried himself came THE VERY NEXT DAY to treat my home for bed bugs. He was very professional and took the time to answer all my questions and put my fears to rest. His son Jesse came out to do a second treatment the following week on teh SAME DAY I called to finish off the bugs that were left. I live very far away from their home office of Hagerstown MD. They were on time, and showed up in a timely manner. The price was more then reasonable and was less then half the price a large company would charge. WONDERFUL! This is a family owned business. Please use them for any pest control needs!
Very convenient to just drop in and buy a slice of pizza!
When it comes to shoes, they always have a wide range of styles and sizes. Makes it easy to shop for a family - one stop.
A great downtown Frederick hangout spot. They have live music on the weekends, open-mic music on Tuesday nights and a poetry group meets there on Wednesday nights. They have a good selection of board games, some books, and a nice mix of tables, comfy chairs, bar-type seating, and outdoor seating. And their chicken salad sandwiches are amazing!
Wag's is a bar and restaurant in downtown Frederick located down a flight of stairs, at basement-level. The inside is cozy -- deep and narrow, with small tables (seat 4) up against a brick wall. The burgers are good, but the fries are the real attraction. The large size fries is plenty for two or three people to share.
At a neighbor's recommendation, I took my two cats to West Frederick Veterinary Hospital when they were due for vaccinations. One of my cats, normally very friendly, was scared and hissed and tried to scratch the assistant. She came back with giant protective mitts, which only scared my cat more, and they said they wouldn't vaccinate her without sedating her. I took her to Old Farm Veterinary Hospital instead, where the vet has experience working with feral cats, and he was able to relax her and build her trust enough to do the shot without any mitts or sedation. Old Farm was also less expensive. In the future I will be going there with both cats.
With its maze-like rows of tall wooden shelves, Wonder Book is worth visiting as much for the experience as for the bargain-priced used books. They don't have a catalog of what's in stock, so if you're looking for something in particular, be prepared to hunt. Better yet, go without a shopping list and see what you discover. They also buy used books and movies, but be prepared to get about $20 for a few boxes' worth.
I drove past Tri-Angle Restaurant many times without noticing it until my boyfriend and I tried their chili at the Hancock Winter Festival and asked where we could get some more. It was a Saturday afternoon and the restaurant was mostly empty, but our waitress was friendly and the food was delicious. The decor was homey and there were beautiful paintings on the walls for sale.
Antietam Cable is a quality cable provider.
A beautiful selection of clocks of all shapes and sizes.
I have been to several events catered by Leiters'. The food is always very tasty and the presentation is great! Very professional and capable staff.
